The Davis High School cheerleading squad is an award-winning team coached by Alisha Eller. The team practices eight months out of the year. Cheerleading is an official school sport at DHS and cheerleaders can earn a varsity letter. The team cheers at football home and away games, and basketball home games for the boys’ and girls’ teams. They also compete in several cheerleading competitions. The squad has garnered a reputation for their action-packed routines that incorporate high-flying stunts, tumbling and precision dance moves.
